November 1, 201114 yr right on, I think its looks cool without it.Since your a RW Ng pilot I have a question, did PMDG get the size of the Windscreen right? It seems like when I sit in the NGX the windows look huge but when I see RW pic they look very very small, what is your opinion on that?CheersThis is because most of those pics or vids were taken neither from the captain's nor from the FO's seats. They're usually either from the jumpseat or somewhere behind the 'flying' seats. Look at these shots, not the best examples maybe, but just to give you an idea of what I mean: Chidiebere Anyahara
November 1, 201114 yr Are there any people that know how to mod the airplane? example add the auto probe heat switch or take away the yaw damper thing a ma bobNever change a running system is probably more true with this bird than anywhere else... I seriously doubt you could ever just add or remove or alter gauges in any way. The whole artwork is crafted in a way everything fits together nicely, so I would never dare to tamper with it TBH. Plus since this is a fairly complex design it's just impossible to just take any single random gauge and do something to it. This is not like the stock C172 panel where you basically have seperate control of each and every instrument.
November 1, 201114 yr Guys,With all due respect, we didn't "forget" anything. The real life NG has literally thousands of possible option configurations - many of them are things specific to a single airline and many are done aftermarket by the airline after the airplane's been received from Boeing. We cannot possibly model all of these - we did what we felt were the big ones. There's something like 80 of them now post-SP1. If an individual airline wants to contract with us to produce a layout that exactly matches theirs, we'll be happy to work out a deal with them, but for the general public, there's just no way we're going to sit here adding every single option config someone finds in a photo. We'll never move on to the 777 if we do that.I personally appreciate what you did with the NGX and I'm perfectly satisfied with the options. As for the 777 - I'd rather like to see an A320 in NGX quality , but that's a different story Dave P. November 1, 201114 yr Other thing is the small green "traits" indicators above N1. In these traits we found the N1 value when is set. Ryanair uses the NGX default. GOL, Suncountry, Virgin Australia and and many others uses the setting with "traits". This isn't a complaint !!!! Romulo Serrano - IVAO MEMBER 190788 My pics on JP.net
