Hi guys,I sadly have purchased but won't be able to fly for a couple of weeks,In the forum release thread, Robert mentioned that there were performance increases within the VC [not including the low res option!]Has anybody seen a difference with this? :)Cheers,p.s could someone post a SAS 600/700 in game, that would make me very happy :)All the best,

Not sure if its because I haven't touched FSX in a month or what but it sure does feel like a boost in FPS.

Yes, the NGX has a performance Manager now, which changes textures, model and resolution on the DU's. I switched to the lower versions and the FPS when up a little but the NGX looks awful so I switched back.

As mentioned in bold, i am not comparing this to anything done in the perf manager, this is straight comparison between the pre HF3 version

The only way to know is to fly it, it's premature to ask others to compare stats on systems that are different to yours - your cfg file is different, add-ons impact on performance, external programs impact on performance,....etc I'm not going to bang on!!!Just try it and see.

surely a performance increase is a performance increase no matter the system?

Not with FSX, I'm afraid....this is a tangled mess of code which baffles the best of us.Personally, on my exploration with SP1, I'm down by 4 fps but I'm not exploring it too thoroughly as I'm too busy with work commitments to mess around with FSX.I guess it's all relative, but, one way to be sure is to...........you know! :) throttle it up and see. :D
