November 4, 201114 yr I use default fax weather realtime update 15 min and squakbox for vatsim. Fsupic also. Not sure why I get wind shift n my airspeed has huge swings 30 to 40 mph a sec shifts autothrottle goes crazy. Anyone know or hve had this

November 4, 201114 yr Except Active Sky can have unreliable destination wind direction - 50/50 whether atc (add-on) directs to the correct runway using real-time weather. Rex has always been correct, except during crosswind situations which turn FSX mental anyway.I have both REX and Active Sky and both have issues IMO, but, REX is more reliable.I'd advise doing some in-depth research before laying out your cash as these are not the cheapest add-ons.
