November 10, 201114 yr Has anyone come across a problem like I have with my NGX at the moment? With relatively high (70kt +) wind at cruise. With LNAV engaged the aircraft will bank violently left and right, sometimes with deviation up to 180 degrees track, chasing the intended heading. Engaging heading hold to counter this will cause the same effect, sometimes banking so hard the autopilot will disengage and a bank angle warning alarm will sound. The only option is to set the weather to 'clear skies', as opposed to updating real world weather every 15mins.Anyone got any advice?I find I have a similar problem with the 744 also, but only in heading hold. But that's for another post. Thanks
