November 11, 201114 yr Hi,Just a question regarding the flight plan and plane performance data entry in FMC.Normally, when all required data have been entered, we should see a pre-flt complete information displayed telling us that all data are ok andif not, where data are missing. For the moment I never see such info displayed among all the flight plans I have alredy entered. So, is this display missing in PMDG 737NGX FMC ?As exemple, below is a tutorial from iFly 737 NGX showing such a screen. Thanks for any explanation on this.Patrice. November 11, 201114 yr As far as I remember this has been asked before - the answer was that it is an airline option and not modeled in the NGX. Hope this helps. Christoph Kühne
November 11, 201114 yr ......nevertheless I think PMDG should implement that feature later on. It could maybe be a helpfor some here I guess and I myself think it´s a real good airline option to have./ Leffe Leif A Mikkelsen **********************
November 11, 201114 yr If you read your checklists properly it will not be missed. Since other Boeing airplanes do not have this option it also helps maintin a small degree of commonality. In my opinion, this option actually increases the chances that something might be missed because it might induce the crew into following their pre-flight checks with less adherence, albeit uncounsciously. November 11, 201114 yr Wow, that is obvious yet I´d never noticed it. Thanks for pointing it out Jason! Cheers,Victor M. Lima
November 11, 201114 yr You always know when the pre-flight is complete because it will show " index " in LSK6.If it was not complete it would show " Perf Init " or " Route "+10 to Jason. Good observation!! Ron Priever
