Payware GA AI traffic package?

Featured Replies

Would you buy? There are many popular AI Traffic addons available, both payware and freeware, that add realistic airline and cargo traffic. For us GA pilots however, there isn't that much available. There are a bunch of flightplans to add more traffic but they all use the default planes only.I would really like the small airfields to really feel like real airfields with various aircraft arriving and departing, as well as doing touch and go's.I would gladly pay for an addon that:-Adds much more GA traffic to even smaller GA airports all around the world, while possibly removing some from the big international airports-Gives the planes realistic, region-based tail numbers and flightplans, both xcountry and circuits-Adds new aircraft as well as replaces the defaults with more framerate-friendly versions. The default FS2004 planes are IMO too detailed for AI traffic. I know they have different LODs but all those details still have to slow down the sim a bit. There are some common GA planes that are not in FS2004 and adding those as AI would really enhance the experience. Some more twins than the Baron are needed, and more Pipers and Beechcrafts. Some experimental and unusual aircraft would also be nice to "spice up" the traffic. Some bush planes flying around the remote airfields maybe. Also, several variations of each aircraft so that you see both brand new, fuel injected C172's and rusty old beaten up buckets.Just wondering how many would be interested in such an addon. Not that I would be able to develop one :-lol

I would also be very interested in something like this.

I'd be interested. I fly with only GA traffic. I thought somebody posted that they are working on a GA traffic addon though.

http://www.simmarket.com/online/mytrafficDoesn't add GA aircraft to very small airports, but 5500 others around the world, so you should be able to find a smaller place to fly to and enjoy some GA and even military traffic along the way! Plus, you can create flights to or from any airport, really. You would jeust have to enter the appropriate airport coordinates, following the model used in the airports file of FS9. I've been quite happy with the program.http://www.2decker.com/media/solent1-2.JPGAlex ChristoffN562ZBaltimore, MD
