Weird fuzzy things in the water at night - broken graphics card?

Featured Replies

I keep getting these weird fuzzy things in the sea at night and have tried changing lots of settings to get rid of them.I'm worried as the last time something like this started happening (fs9) it was my graphics card that had to be changed! It's so ugly I can't imagine it was actually designed as part of the game so would love it if someone could tell me how to stop it.I use REX and wasn't sure if it was a particular choice of sea textures causing it but I've swapped about and they still appear. Many thanks, James

Could it be the reflection of stars? Please post a screenshot if possible.

How can I get rid of them? (The only star I've seen reflect on water in the RW is the Sun!)Cheers,- jahman.

Use FSWC and try the Orion preset as a starting point. Works wonderfully to clean up the nasty water reflections at night time.

Yup I believe it's indeed the stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, SERIOUSLY!!!! Dose MS actually look at what it sells??? It's so bad that until I can find a solution I'm just not flying at night, it's crazy! And the setting sun creates a weird light reflection that ends in a point below the horizon? Very odd. That's for the advice about FSWC. I hope it wont confict with REX? Anyone know if it does or what I should avoid doing? Cheers!Yes they do look like jellyfish or those wierd aliens from the sci-fi series that got pulled call Invasion.
