December 15, 201114 yr HiI created a Flight Planning website for X-Plane's pilot. Its is free and tailored for X-Plane needs. The site is at: http://xflightplan.sharedshoplist.comI use X-Plane resource to build the flight route, so you can be sure that a mission that had been planed by the site, can be flown in X-Plan.The site is in its Beta testing, so any opinion/remark is welcome.Fly HighSagi
December 15, 201114 yr That's very cool. One suggestion: could the website be programmed to generate a text string that could be copy and pasted directly into the "Route" box in XP10's flight planner?
December 15, 201114 yr Hi, I really like the ability to find arrival airports within a certain distance! I'm definitely going to use this! Hi I created a Flight Planning website for X-Plane's pilot. December 15, 201114 yr Author That's very cool. One suggestion: could the website be programmed to generate a text string that could be copy and pasted directly into the "Route" box in XP10's flight planner? Can and will be done. For now its for first testing to get users opinion.Down the road, I will add a plugin that will integrate the flight plan with aviation systems...
December 15, 201114 yr Is this XP9.7 compatible? I normally use FS Commander for flight planning and obviously there are discrepancies between the current AIRAC cycles and NAVAIDS within XP. If I understand what you have done here is simply use the XP database to ensure what is planned works in the XP FMS?Pardon me if that sounded redundant.CheersTed AVSIM Staff ReviewerBush Is Good!
December 15, 201114 yr Very nice simple layout with all pertinent info...only addition I could think would be links to airport diagrams and approach plates...but very useful still without Aaron

I am a professional programmer in the field of Aviation. However I tailored the web site for XP Pilots. For this rezone I used XP database and not real world. I will improve things as it goes, but with XP in mindVery nice simple layout with all pertinent info...only addition I could think would be links to airport diagrams and approach plates...but very useful still withoutBe happy to do so if you have a link to a good free sites...

December 15, 201114 yr Hello Sagi,Nice application that you have created there. I gave it a shot from KCAE to KMIA. Your product came up with all the info very well, but unfortunately I am unable to paste the info in the XP-X flight plan. COPY to get your info works but XPX will not allow a paste, but I have been known to be wrong before so maybe someone else can check.I did input manually your flight plane but XPX did not like KCAE and KMIA in there, just a point of info on that since that area is for fixes/ndb/vor.Do not think ATC is active at KCAE, will not respond here, ATIS is ok.Edit: I wonder if I should consider the non-paste ability a bug since a paste function would certainly be helpful.X-plane 10 version 10.03b5Chuck Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700KF CPU @ 4.90GHz 32.0 GB RAM Windows 11 Home NVIDIA RTX 3080Ti 12GB Multi monitors WD SN850 M2 2TB PSU 1000W. 360 AIO.cooling.

December 16, 201114 yr but unfortunately I am unable to paste the info in the XP-X flight plan. COPY to get your info works but XPX will not allow a paste,CTRL-V?Same issue with XSB and ctrl-v does it. Try that! AVSIM Staff ReviewerBush Is Good!

To understand if it is the copy or paste issue, try to paste to notepad. If does not work than the copy is not working. Otherwise its XPX and maybe it is a bugI am currently generating routes using the airways from XP database. In the future I plan to allow vor to vor navigation. Due to limited resources I do not do a full blow route building, there for the route might not be the best possible one.Www.airnav.com/airport/[icao]WWW.AIRNAV.COM/AIRPORTS/KDAB For example...all charts at bottom of page...I could not see charts from many airports I know of. Maybe there is another, better source.
December 16, 201114 yr CTRL-V?Same issue with XSB and ctrl-v does it. Try that!Notepad will work with Left mouse Copy and Right mouse Paste.XP-x will not work that way, but as you suggested a Ctrl "V" does work. Will see how it goes.ThanksChuck Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700KF CPU @ 4.90GHz 32.0 GB RAM Windows 11 Home NVIDIA RTX 3080Ti 12GB Multi monitors WD SN850 M2 2TB PSU 1000W. 360 AIO.cooling.
December 16, 201114 yr I'm glad to hear that CTRL-V works in XPX as it does in XP9.7. The same issue exists when trying to stick a plan into XSquawkbox and it drove me crazy fat-fingering in routes until I tried the shortcut. AVSIM Staff ReviewerBush Is Good!
