December 21, 201114 yr It starts up and then after 10 minutes of flight I hear a woowu from win 7 and rc4 stops with this error.I just upgraded to fsuipc 4.753b to try and stop the crash g3.dll and now I have this problem. It says runtime error 76(I think) error radar contact in fsuipc rcv4 code Marc Lynn
December 21, 201114 yr Commercial Member I just upgraded to fsuipc 4.753bThere never was a 4.753b release. The 4.753 release on Tuesday was replaced by 4.754 yesterday, and there have never been any others in between.Pete Win10: 22H2 19045.2728 CPU: 9900KS at 5.5GHz Memory: 32Gb at 3800 MHz. GPU: RTX 24Gb Titan 2 x 2160p projectors at 25Hz onto 200 FOV curved screen
December 21, 201114 yr Author Thats what I meant. 4.754b has been available for a week or so, this is supposed to fix the g3d.dll error bug for everyone. Anyway my debug log is to big to upload so for JC, I will email you my log. This was from the last flight in the PMDG NGX and after a short while it stops responding, after I landed my power went out so I couldnt see the error again but I think its runtime 76 and it talks about fsuipc, should be able to see it in the log. This time it shut down right when I hit the fuel for the right engine, like it was related or something.ThanksActually its 4.751a.How many versions a day do you put out lately! Marc Lynn
December 21, 201114 yr Author Where do I get the latest version. I was linked in with the last but when I go to your website I only see 4.70. I forget where I got it last time, if there is a newer version than maybe thats it. Marc Lynn
December 21, 201114 yr Author So just confirm I need Makerunways 4.51 and FSUIPC 4.754.I still have not found 4.754. On your website I just see a link to 4.70b but it actually downloads a later version but not 4.754. This is all so confusing for a guy like me. Marc Lynn
December 21, 201114 yr Commercial Member did you click the .flt/.wx button and define the path where rc is supposed to stored the .rcd files? it should be the same path as the directory where all the .flt and .wx files are on your machineif that doesn't help, make a log, instructions pinned to the top of the forum. duplicate the problem, zip up the log and send it to mejd JD Read my blog
December 21, 201114 yr Author JDI sent you a log. This has been working very well for 2 months since install and no problems so to answer your question the .flt./wx path is correct. This just started the next flight after installing FSUIPC 4.751b. I figured out where to get 4.754 and its not on the Pete's main page, it's in the forum for anyone with as few brain cells as I.Hopefully updating FSUIPC and Makerunways will cure this. Marc Lynn
December 22, 201114 yr Author I fixed it. It was imperative to update Makerunways to 4.51, although I also updated to FSUIPC 4.754 so I dont know which one did it but I ran/tested it for 30 minutes and so far so good. Seems like my annoying stutter/pausing problem went away as well. You guys can all relax now. It's OK to stop drinking. Thanks! Marc Lynn
December 22, 201114 yr The two links for FSUIPC are pinned at the top of the forum. There is a whole package link and an interim link to modules. There is also a link to makerwys.exe interim latest version.
December 22, 201114 yr Commercial Member you sent me an 11mb file, unzippedand it told me what i suspected in the first 20 linesyou have not defined the path, to where the .flt and .wx files are storedonce you do that, your problem will be solvedjd JD Read my blog
December 25, 201114 yr Author But I did define the path 6 months ago. This program has worked for over 100 hours without flaw. I get my flight plans no problem and the ATIS reports are there so I dont know how the path is not defined. How would this work so well for so long and then one day do this? Can the .flt and .wx paths become undefined by themselves? Serious question here.Your right the path is undefined. How could that happen by itself?Forgive my stupidity again but is this the same folder that the FS flight plans are stored in by default? Because that's what I just linked it to. I don't remember how I did it before but maybe it was wrong and somehow worked untill it didn't.Thanks allot Marc Lynn
December 25, 201114 yr Author I am dying of curiosity as to the fact that after I updated FSUIPC to 4.754 and Makerunways 4.51 RC4 worked perfect again with the .ftl/.wx path undefined. In the log at the startup screen it did say .flt/.wx path=. I am just trying to understand how this can work, or how this works. I defined the path to the folder my FS flight plans are saved in by default just now which is what I did when I installed it 6 months ago or so. Anyway, I guess computers have a mind of their own and change their setttings when they feel like it. At least mine has been known to do that. Must be the pole shift thingie. Marc Lynn
