Like the title says,was doing on of my 6th flights (6th try) to fly from EGBB-LEIB. I fly full screen all the time, and when im in the crusis ill get a message on vatsim or gamepsy and wham, black screen or the VC is half missing. This keeps happening and is realy anoying. If i can only fly this aircraft not in full screen without the vc crashing everythime then iv wasted £100, Sorry for my anger but when ur a family man like myself and have limited time, its realy frustating to spend 30mins seting ur A/C up for then the A/C to keep crasing if you get a message or pause it on full screen.Danny

I have a similar problem, are you using NVIDIA graphics card by any chance?

I always fly windowed mode with the FSX menu bar hidden and i can multi task during the flight and even watch a movie without crashing. Full screen is notoriously unstable especially if you have to get back to the desktop to see other FS programs running in the background. If your going to run full screen then your stuck in there the rest of the flight unless you want to risk a crash.

Well you gotta remember the NGX is not just any aircraft. It is extremely complex and because of that it uses a lot of resources that more simple planes do. Why do you fly on Gamespy? If you want to fly online the ultimate network to fly on is VATSIM.

Danny, I don´t think there´s a problem using Full Screen.The problem is that you can´t use ALT-Tab, but have to use Alt-Enter instead.I also goes out several times, when in a longer cruise and never had a probs with thatand I know a lot of others, that do the same.Alt-Enter, then just minimize it to taskbar when going out. When going back, pick it up from taskbar, then maximize itand Alt-Enter again and you are in Full Screen again./ Leffe

#1 Question is : Is your issue being caused by(1) being in a Multiplayer sessionor(2) your setup -- ie would also fail when not in Multiplayeror(3) The Multiplayer session you are connecing to.Assuming you can fly your 737 for HOURS in Free Flight, the issue may NOT be your setup, but rather instability in the FSX Multiplayer session you are connecting to,( FYI: Unfortunatly, I cannot imagine that the 737NGX is able to fly in any "standard" FSX MP session for any length of time, with issues).You might like to try flying on the FS-MP FSX-2 MP sever ( you can acess this through Gamespy, and later, direct connect)( This is not a standard FSX MP server, and is enhansed to deal with the "Issues" that so many advanced addon planes have.)It has been demonstated that multiple PMDG 737NGX aircraft can fly on this particular server, without any specific MP issues.ie Other have flown on this server, with other aircraft, including other 737NGX aircarft, for many many hours, without issue.So, if you try this server, and have issues, it is almost certainly somethng in your Install or computer setup.If you do NOT have issues, it is, as expected, Standard FSX MP Severs, having issues with the 737NGX.At least you will find out where your problem lies.
