December 27, 201114 yr On my last flight with the 737-800 ngx I had a couple of door indicator lights that would not go out even though the doors were shut. I did try to re-open and close these doors but not joy. If this is a mechanical problem how do you repair it without having to exit out and start all over? I tried the repair system in the CDU but that did not work either. Thanks for any suggestions given.DonMcCaptMac
December 27, 201114 yr Maybe that was about overwing exits... Just read the introduction manual, it is a "normal" thing during taxi, check that doors are closed, if confirmed, continue to fly, the light will go off.I had that some times before the various fixes, then I had no more of them. Regards Andrea Daviero
December 27, 201114 yr I guess that you know this but are your cargo doors closed? You can access them via the second "FMC doors page". Other than this, no idea. Manfred G. Ships are cooler that you think.
December 28, 201114 yr Have the overwing exits lights sometime att spool-up at takeoff. They turned off at take-off. But the simplest way to not make them lit seems to be like this: apply trust gently to about 40-50% so the cabin can expand slowly and seal itself before full take-off trust. Daniel Groth
December 28, 201114 yr That's actually an item in Delta's before takeoff checklist, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's on every other airline. Checking the takeoff configuration warning. Arrey AtiKATL Supertug
