December 28, 201114 yr Hello, yesterday I installed the 737NGX on my system, all is working fine so far, during my flight I programmed the star, but it was not possible to remove certain lines whitin my fmc, also it was not possible to edit a waypoint with the correct speed and altitude. At a certain moment ATC give me the instruction to fly direct to a way point, so i selected the waypoint in the fmc and want to set them on the top SLK1L, but this was also inpossible, help is welcome. Cd was ordered via simmarket. uninstalled all again and did a reinstall, the problem still the same.
December 28, 201114 yr Please do the tutorial! Also if you can´t delete a certain wp, upselect the next one beneath to it. If you make a pics when you upselect that wp you couldn´t, when ATC said so, it would beeasier for us to see the probs. ,So please make some screenies of the CDU so we could see what youare doing......GUESS work for us if not./ Leffe Leif A Mikkelsen **********************
December 29, 201114 yr Author hello, I tryed today several things,1 inserted my star, no problem,2 deleted the missed app lines, I could delete 2 lines, but still 2 remaining, I tryed to delete those, but I get the error "invalid delete"3 then I tryed to select a waypoint on line 5 and put them on line , execute but i was not working, so I started all over again programming the whole routing in the fmc, but this time after programming the star, I let the missed app line as there are, now I selected a waypoint and put them on line 1, so at the top, now all was working fine. I fly several years with the pmdg 747 without any trouble, I will try today A new flght and will test those things, I will report when a error happends, thanks for your help so far

Aren't they kinda there for a reason? Thanks!Nick CrateChief Executive OfficerFedEx Virtual Air Cargo
December 29, 201114 yr Author I was used to it to remove those within the pmdg 747, so I did this now to, but it appears that within the NGX those lines are needed, so maybe it was a wrong idea to do this, no special reason for it
December 29, 201114 yr There is no point in removing those, in 747 or in NGX. they will delete automatically after you land and shut down. Also you cant delete some kinds of waypoints by hand, I think that is conditional waypoints? Not sure. That is correct. I would also recommend upselecting lower waypoints as a way to get rid of anything you dont want, so that you dont end up with discontinuities and whatnot. --Peter Fabian
