Mexsim leeds/Bradford scenery in FSX

Featured Replies

My question is about the following scenery:http://secure.simmarket.com/mexsim-leeds-bradford-egnm.phtmlThis is a FS2004 scenery, but in my experience you can get these sceneries to work in FSX. I was wondering if somebody has already used it in fSX, and if so, what the experiences are with it in FSX.

I've tried several times and never got any FS2004 sceneries to work in FSX.Not tried this one though, but I doubt you will get any success.IAN

Let us know if you do get it to work Ben, I bought this last year and have since moved to FSX and would love to have it working in FSX too

Reason I askled is because I didn't buy it yet... I think I won't then. Bit too risky I think, even for the low price you can currently get it for. I'll wait for UK2000 to make a Leeds Extreme version.

I think that this is one I tried. I ended up with the usual 'trees within squares' that we commonly get with FS9 portovers. I could have looked for the appropriate BGL to remove but it wasn't worth the effort. While you're waiting for Extreme Leeds, there's a reasonable version in Gary Summons' UK airfields volume 3.[and you can look at the real thing here: http://www.multiflig...ntre/webcam.php]

And what about the ground photoscenery? How did that p[ort over to FSX? I can live without trees, but removing the ground photoscenery would take away much of the enjoyment the scenery ahs to offer to me.And indeed, totally forgot about VFR Airfields! I have all the packages, so I'll take a look one of these days. Thanks for reminding me about it.

Can't remember, I'm afraid, although I do use the UK Horizon photoscenery which may have been a factor.
