Umm, you can fly our DA42 Twinstar for FSX

If you want it "as real as it gets" you would need to add the mindstar g1000 to the es da42 tho.

I have the Eaglesoft DA42. Quite good. Anyway don't expect detailed features like:- working ECU TEST- Crossfeed- COM1 and NAV1 ON with electrical master ON and avionic master OFFmy vote: 7,5/10:)

Actually our own G1000 is realistically tailored to the DA42 Twinstar. Owners of Mindstar units do have the option to seamlessly integrate their units into our aircraft but there is no requirement to do so. :(

She does fly like the real thing though as real DA42 Pilots have told us... :(

I think he's looking for something "as real as it gets".Your g1000 is not as real as it gets.Not even close.

I agree. I have about 30 hours real flying experience in a DA42 equipped with the TAE 125-02-99 engine and KAP140 autopilot. The flight dynamics of your plane are very good. I've only expected more details regarding systems, as stated before.;)

Hi Dominik,Have you talk to your instructor in regards to the system training portion of the DA42?Your flight school should be able to give you a copy of the Garmin's G1000 PC trainner program which enables you to practice the G1000 systems at home to familarize yourselve with it. And if you have two monitors , you can have both screen open at the same time.When I was current on the DA42, I was using that Garmin program to understand what the system has, of course, you will learn alot more when you are in it and working with the plane, especially with the autopilot.The program used to be free, but i think is now cost about 25USD from Garmin.https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=35404Good luck and have fun!
