Hi, After watching the demos of this fantastic aircraft, I can't wait to get it! I really am not familiar with EagleSoft products and went to their website today because of the post here at Avsim. Is there a price to get this aircraft or is it freeware? When approx. will it be released? Thank yu, S.

The Eaglesoft Citation will be payware--no idea of cost yet, although I have the Eaglesoft Beechjets and can only say they are among my favorites and well worth what I paid...-John

Yes, they are very much worth it (not to mention this aircraft is a very cool real-world plane). The only criticism about their planes would be that they do take a powerful system to run. The great thing about the Citation X is that it will have 4 different versions so we can all pick our own preference for detail vs performance!

It should be a good one. I just purchased the Beechjet 400 (which comes with the Premier 1 free) last weekend and have been having a ball with them. The only nit I have to pick with them is that my old eyes have trouble reading some of the swithes on the panel and there are no text tags to help out.

I have their Beechjet and Premier 1 aircraft and they are outstanding. It's payware but I'm sure the X will be more than worth it. 4 models so anyone can fly it and about the best in customer support I've ever seen.Best, Rob

I'm another happy customer for the Beechjets. Well worth the price. Bizjets have been neglected for a long time, so this is a very welcome addition to our hangers.

It's not your eyes. I also like the jets except for the panels. I feel they are substandard by todays standards. Functionality and visuals could be a lot better for the price.As much as I like the Citation X, I'll not be buying any more of their offerings until the panel is brought up to par.If it weren't for the panel issues I would say these are a must have.David

I don't think you will find that the panel in the X is substandard at all. It's very highly integrated and a very good representation of the Primus 2000 system.Lonny

I have also beta tested more than a few addons. Also, I fly right seat in a CJ5 so I am quite familiar with the "real thing". My comment was not to put the product down. I was merely stating my opinion concerning the lack of clarity in the panel bitmaps.Now, I enjoy flying the Beech. I only wish the panel was easier to read.Having said that...I am looking forward to the X and hoping that the bitmaps are clearer. I would just like to see a native resolution screen shot of the panel. The pics on the web site are not good enough to really see what the panel looks like. If the panel is improved I will definitely be right there with my credit card. If not, I will have to think about it some. Although, I must say, I might purchase it anyway just because I love the Citation X. I do have the capability of cleaning up the bitmaps so they are easier to read.I think what Eaglesoft has done with these models is fantastic. I don't think I've seen an addon aircraft before that looked like an actual photograph of the real thing. They handle like a dream. My only gripe has been that the panels are too blurry and that is a detraction to me.
