Carenado Flight Dynamics ?

1. Sorry, but you apparently don't know what you are talking about. There are a few planes in FSX which correctly simulate the prop wash over the tail and hence allow a 'brake stand' just with the standard SDK.
Hi Bernt,AFAIK (but of course I may be wrong) FSX flight model does not model the effect of propwash on tail (not sure in flight, but from what I remember this should be true while the a/c is on the ground). Can you name (or if you have a video etc.) an aicraft using the internal FSX flight model that can do brake stands? Not being confrontational, just genuinosly curious.Marco

Hi Marco,FSX models propwash over the rudder and elevator. That's an essential item but not for that fancy and dangerous brake stand. That capability is just a by-productIn the SDK there are 27 different variables for the elevator and horizontal stabilizer.Unfortunately due to a pm I got from Cody my hands are tied so I can't post in the forum which FSX planes are capable of doing a brake stand.but you've got a PM of course :(

I would like to point out that I never "tied" his hands. Bstolle initially sent me a message to which I replied. For whatever reason (either due to error in the database or his deletion) I am unable to post the full conversation we had for all to see. I am paraphrasing but I simply made a statement that I am incapable of proving my claim because in that process I would be divulging how A2A and other companies are producing their flight models due to what are trade secrets. It is not my position to spread how companies are internally developing without expressed permission, and would potentially put me in professional and legal trouble.
