1st experience with FSX in multi-displays... not so good :(

Been messing around with trying some display confiqs today and I must say I was very "underwhelmed". Right now I am trying (2) 1920x1080 displays using AMD Radeon 6970 in Eyefinity mode. Using previously one display I could lock at 30FPS. With two I lose 20FPS! And that's knocking off all AI, trimming down most of my other sliders as well. I was planning to add a 2nd 580 to the mix but seeing these test results have put everything on hold.Is anyone out there seeing good results with FSX with multi-displays? SLI?Thinking now I might go with one larger display but I would then need a higher resolution but would that create the same issue? I've seen some of you with 30-32" displays.mmmmm..... just ranting here, hoping for some feedback.... :unknw:

Intel i9-12900KF, Asus Prime Z690-A MB, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, (3) SK hynix M.2 SSD (2TB ea.), 16TB Seagate HDD, Gigabyte GeForce 5080 RTX, Corsair iCUE H70i AIO Liquid Cooler, UHD/Blu-ray Player/Burner (still have lots of CDs, DVDs!)  Windows 10, (hold off for now on Win11),  EVGA 1300W PSU
Netgear 1Gbps modem & router, (3) 27" 1440 wrap-around displays
Full array of Bravo, Saitek and GoFlight hardware for the cockpit. Varjo and HP VR headsets for mixed reality.

I found the same issues with one card. Moved to 2 cards and it increased the stuttering and that was when I found a set of drivers that worked in full screen multi monitor!I now run a 32 inch Sony at 1920*1080 with .76 zoom and it feels perfect...i know some of the guys like Johan are running six monitors at once but not sure how they are doing it or their performance...

Have a Wonderful Day

FSX runs great on three 22 inch monitors using AMD 6970...

I too recently added a second monitor, with the same results. As this point I'm using the second to view items such as the FMC, radiostack, ATC window etc...until I get time to sort through to find a fix. It's not bad having all the clutter off the VC!I was hoping for a much better result though.-V

I´m running two 17" monitors on one GTX 560 SC card. One display used as FS, the other one is obviuosly black. So far it´s working great with most sliders bumped up and a perfect IQ in the NGX.

Best regards, Steffen
