Wilco's A320 Vol. 1 Evolution, How is it?

Featured Replies

You need to get the original version not the Evolution package.

i have both the evolution airbuses vols 1 and 2 and i like them... they don't have as much quality as pmdg's products but i like them

The Evo package does fix the flight plan bug with pseudo waypoints, so in that respect it's an improvement. The aircraft also engages the correct FMGS modes after takeoff, which it didn't before. There aren't any other real improvements, but just getting rid of the flight plan problem made the Evo version worthwhile for me. The Weather Radar makes for some nice eye candy, but the HUD is ugly and a waste of time. I've seen much better looking freeware panel HUDs.Now if only Wilco would fix the flight director in the E-jets sim......

After upgrading to the Evolution, I am unable to load the airbus. I get ntdll.dll errors. FS crashes. Wilco has been no help at all. Wish I had not updated.Michael

There is version 1.2 available now at Wilco - maybe that will help.
That's for the 737 Evolution, Airbus Vol 1 Evo is still at 1.1
