January 11, 201214 yr Author If You have registered FSUIPC, then You can make macro and set transponder key/button through FSUIPC "Buttons-Switches" tab.Gr.,SenadTried what you suggest and under the Buttons-Switches tab I found a key to make a mouse macro but after giving the macro a name and pressing OK and then using my mouse to increase the transponder switch one step nothing happened and I then went back into FSUIPC and pressed the 'End mouse macro' key and again...nothing happened and I'm not even sure what exactly was supposed to happen?I'll give LINDA a second try following Christoph's instructions above and see if I can get that to work, will report back.
January 11, 201214 yr Author You need to have LINDA istalled (just put a copy into the modules folder). Then you have to copy the files of the NGX modules to the /modules/linda/ folder, wherever they are supposed to go (can't be more specific, I'm not sitting at my FSX machine). Then you should be all set. When you open Linda, it has a "select aircraft" list at the top, the NGX entry should appear and be selectable. In the tab for your throttle, you should be able to assign the NGX/transponder/XPND MODE CYCLE function to just a single button without affecting anything else.OK, I now installed LINDA and put the NGX module where it should be and it shows up fine inside LINDA and I managed to map one of the keys on my CH Yoke to a NGX fuction...in this case the XPND MODE CYCLE function. When I switch back to FSX I see a message saying LINDA config was updated or something like that but no matter what I do nothing happens when I press the key on my CH Yoke I mapped to the NGX XPND MODE CYCLE funtion. I also tried some other NGX fuctions like setting the AUTOBRAKE but nothing seems to work I'm afraid and part from this I also noticed after doing this my hat switch on the yoke doesn't work in FSX anymore so I'm very happy I made a full backup of both my system partition and the FSX partition :(
January 11, 201214 yr I haven't got time to read the whole thread so this may have been suggested already, but make sure you are using the absolute latest version of FSUIPC from Petes support forum and try again. Cheers, Andy.

Glad you got a backup, whoever I would expect removing the Linda stuff from the modules folder should have taken care of the problems (maybe rebuilding the FSUIPC config on top). Anyway, you still could try doing it trough FSUIPC directly (as I understand LINDA is only an interface for FSUIPC). Christoph Kühne
January 12, 201214 yr Author I had another look tonight to figure out if I could maybe fix this somehow only using FSUIPC and what I found was that whenever I map any of the switches on my CH Yoke using FSUIPC the hat switch on my Yoke won't work anymore so appearently it wasn't because of LINDA but rather FSUIPC. Don't know why FSUIPC will start messing with my hat switch only because I try to map some other switch on my yoke. BTW I'm using FSUIPC version 4.751a.Maybe I do some more testing and I also posted about this in a dedicated FSUIPC forum so let's see what that gives but currently I think I will let go of this and keep operating the transponder switch with the mouse instead because I don't really like to mess to much with my FSX installation when everything is working 100% fine. In the past I often found myself spending more time messing with various stuff in FSX rather than flying and I don't want it to be like that...Thanks anyway to all that gave tips and ideas!
