Just to prove to myself that I CAN still fly prop planes I've just redone descent and approach and landed with no problems. To be fair it's pitch black for the whole of the flight, with no point of reference till the runway lights come into view. And me being over confident and rushing things was only going to lead to disaster.

The only person... as a skilled vet like you has nothing to prove to us.Btw... Bry will be leading an "Intervention" tonite at your flat. We will be taking the Xbox, PS3... Wii... Nintendo 3DS and any peripheral not related to Flight sim.@ Bry... don't forget to bring his flight suit/helmet/gloves and that military radio chatter cd.
