STEC autopilot

Don't know if you could help me but since I bought this wonderful airplane I wasn't able to see autopilot work well.As soon as the airplane intercepts the VOR course it starts to follow a "wave pattern". It's like the autopilot is not predictive.Same problem when following an ILS course. Once I landed on the side of a runaway.Did someone of you experienced the same problem?I contacted Carenado support but they said the problem sound very strange to them.I'm very sad 'cause the plane is really wonderful! Please help!

Just make sure to intercept at a shallow angle (no more than 30 degrees), ata reasonable speed and far enough out so that the autopilot has a chance tostabilize on the new course. Don't expect "Otto" to do with a Malibu what you could expectfrom a smaller airplane..

I know I'm a little late on this but I would love to get your "fix" for the autopilot on the Malibu.  I spent about an hour in the cockpit trying to figure it out and never could.  If it's still possible could I get the modification that you made?
