I don't think anymore video card above the 580 GTX will enhance FSX (due to its hardwired limitations), faster CPU yes, GPU noThat's quite true, and because FSX isn't a "mainstream" game, there won't be any tech sites benchmarking it, so until one of our members gets their grubby paws on one, I wouldn't bet on it either. I don't think anymore video card above the 580 GTX will enhance FSX (due to its hardwired limitations), faster CPU yes, GPU noWell, since Nvidia Kepler's GTX680 runs on a 512bit mem interface AND PCIe3, I think that the performance increase will be 15-20%.FSX loves the extra mem interface size. And the PCIe3 should create even better performance.Well, if it's that much more powerfull than Fermi it may allow us to run 4xSGSS with decent performance in clouds.+1

February 9, 201214 yr One day in the not too distant future SSD drives will be the only hard drives available. :Money Eyes: I paid over $400 in Australia for one 240 GB and have a 2 terabyte WD hard drive for anything other than FSX & operating system - expensive yes but some thing FSX seems to perform very well with. They will go down in price in the next 12 months. :Money Eyes: Paul Moss- QFA1316 http://postimg.org/gallery/fni0e84k/ http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o49/Mossyfly47/2014-9-8_21-43-11-191_zpsb01b1b0f.png
