do not replace it, there's couple of sound enhancement here in the forum that making the pack be very realistic.

PMDG sounds are recording from the flightdeck. TSS sounds are useless if you want full realism. If however you like the TSS soundpakc more, go ahead.

Hello Lukas, why is TSS BOEING 737NG HD soundpack useless and not fully realistic?

If memory is well for me today the TSS soundpack is recorded externally only. But to my point: it would be unrealistic to pick any other soundpack apart from PMDG's own pack, as that pack is recorded from the real deal, inside and out, with high end equipment.

Thank you for your opinion. I ask, because I bought this soundpack and it really sounds different. Thrust changes are quite loud and more audible in cockpit with PMDG soundpack and more silent and constant with TSS one. I've never been in the cockpit in real world, so I don't know which one is more realistic. Maybe some real world pilot can judge this ;)All best,

Adrian

Like I said, PMDG recorded the sound from the actual flightdeck and outside with high definition audio equipment. That is all.Cheers

I find PMDG sounds too loud in the cockpit too, so I set master volume to 100, which volumes up all the sounds except the engines, and then it sounds fine. I also removed chainsaw sound from the cockpit cause it is too loud and clear in it, I think that in real life it is barely hearable, and once you get high it dissapears.

i have actually been in the cockpit and the only bad thing in the pmdg soundpack is the engine sound at high altitude, it's to loud, otherwise it's perfectly fine! no need to buy other pack.

Try what I said, remove the chainsaw sound from the cockpit and set master volume to 100 in FMC, it did the job for me!
