Hi Mark, :-)Try downloading the FS2002 version sounds (acsnz.zip) then add the FS2004 acsndz.zip to it.See the Aero Commander FAQ's page for more: http://www.flightsimonline.com/ac500/faqs.htmMilton

MiltonThanks, all is now clear. I dug back in my FS2002 and found that I did have Aaron's previous set (how we forget how well organised we were in FS2002) and so have now done what you suggested for FS2004.If only Aaron's READMEs were a little bit longer ;) ..... thanks again.MarkMark "Dark Moment" Beaumont

Milton,I can only echo the others - a supurb job. One question: Do I have to add my own ATC icon (it's a simple task) or is there another way to interact with ATC that is already built into the panel?Stan V.

Milton,Fantastic aircraft. I wanted to thank you for all your time and effort in designing this great aircraft. I have one question. I have to open up FS9 with a default aircraft and then pull down the menu and select your aircraft. If I select from the opening screen I crash. I do not have to do this with any of your other aircraft. Any possible ideas?Again Thanks Chuck:-smile12

those of you who haven't got it ..go get it now!!! its BRILLIANT thanks so much milton and team best wishes steve

Stan,I guess that was an oversite. Feel free to modify to your liking. :-)Milton

Hi Chuck,Hmmm, that's not something that we've experienced in all our alpha/beta testing the last 3 months.Might be helpful to identify which aircraft version you are using, your system and card specs, color depth, screen mode, and note which aircraft (if not all three). Also, once you have loaded it, then shutdown flightsim, will it then reload?Keep us informed please.Milton

Kyprianos,Amazing Bob Hoover. :-)Actually I believe Bob used the Shrike whereas this is the base AC500 model, pre-Shrike days.Paul Saunders is working on a beautiful Shrike model that will be a real gem for the community. I am unsure of the release date. Here's a pre-release shot of her.

Thank you Steve and to all of you for the nice compliments. :-)We are working feverishly on the FS2002 versions and hope to release them by Thursday night as most everything is done and tested now. For all those people still running FS8, this will be the same setup without the FS9 features, and with many minor changes to textures, light maps, panels, gauges, views, flight dynamics, and model. I had to chuckle after re-reading that. lol

Hello Milton:Great aircraft. For those of us a little less knowledgeable about panel editing, how does one go about adding the ATC icon to the panel.cfg file? Any information would be appreciated.Scott Chenore

In the panel.cfg:For the 2D panel in section Window00, add this line at the bottom:gauge55=SimIcons!ATC Icon, 528, 301, 17, 17For the virtual cockpit model, in section Vcockpit04, add this line at the bottom:gauge15=SimIcons!ATC Icon, 725, 18, 31, 31Milton

Once the FS8 version is out, I may just keep the "Super Stealth" one. It's a real hoot to watch the rerun from outside the cockpit. All that smoke and noise coming outta thin air. Only real problem is finding the damn door to crawl in. Reminds me of "Die Another Day" with the invisible sports car Bond uses. This may be something you can offer in the future, MIlton. Sure puts the F-117 to shame ;)-------------------Racartronit means something, but I just can't remember what

Milton,I am using the VC model. I am running a P4 2.53 with 1gig of 2100DDR memory and a GForce 4 4200 video card. I am running at 1280 x 1024 x32. I am not sure what you mean by color depth. Everytime I load the Aero commander I must first load the default 172 and then pull down the menu and select the Aero commander 500. The 520, 560, anmd the 680 all load perfect without having to load the default aircraft first. Even after loading and shutting down FS9 I must again load the default aircraft first. Thanks for your help on this matterChuck
