March 7, 201214 yr I recently went through this and actually fixed the leak on my system. In addition to the 1.11 patch I followed the instructions here:http://www.simforums.com/forums/question-reout-of-memory-post_topic18082.htmlGood luck,-Paul Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
March 7, 201214 yr Hi,I did this and my FS still crashed at about 1.6GB of RAM usage. Would my only option to stop me getting this error be to upgrade to a 64-bit version? as I have already tried the 4GB patch.I have had 32-bit system (xp) and fs9 for years with no oom problems.A.

Perhaps those with OOM issues should all ' watch steam rise from the saucepan and chuckle loudly'. There is obviously something in the vapour ! :( Tristan Living in the beautiful Chilterns. March 8, 201214 yr You are one lucky chappie. Perhaps those with OOM issues should all ' watch steam rise from the saucepan and chuckle loudly'. There is obviously something in the vapour ! :(Me neither and my system is definitely old hat. I've got UT Europe and US, Flight Global, numerous add ons for weather, lighting and aircraft and never experienced a OOM. Doh, why did I say this? You watch, next FS session it'll all go Pete Tonge!

There is obviously something in the vapour ! :(Neither have I and I run with UT Europe, FS Global and Ground Environment. But I do have other networked PCs which run supporting programs via WideFS. All my FS PC runs is FS2004 and Project Magenta MCP. If you run several memory intensive programs on the same PC as FS it will be more demanding. To the OP, what size is your page file? It should be a fixed size 1.5 times the amount of memory installed. Ray (Cheshire, England).
