Well as an happy customer of the PMDG747X,NGX series and now the MD11 i seeme to get more and more freq. out of memory issues even with Autogen on Normal in places like EGLL . This is offcourse not the case with the other birds and i know that Ryan has optimized the NGX even futher with the SP.Is there any chance that this can transferred to the MD11?Thanks/Michael MoeDoes anybody know if Texture Maxload =2048 being reduced to standard 1024 would make a memory decrease?How much does the livery "eat" of the memory ?ThanksMichael Moe

I only had a 64-bit OOM once and that was when I was landing at KJFK (FSDT addon) from an external viewpoint.I have a 1.5 GB card which I think had caused this,and I changed the fsx.cfg to limit the memory use on the card,and it hasn't happened since.What antivirus software do you have installed?Any other programs/addons running ?

Does antivirus program give any influence on the VAS ???/Michael MoeAs said i can run NGX on MAX autogen with no OOM. I do have changed REX clouds to HD so i will try going back to none HD textures for those and TML=1024

If you were using something like Norton, possibly it could push it over the limit.Changing the REX to 1024 is a good idea.I think there's a post on rex floating about here.

I turn off realtime scan when I am flying, cause they like to just do random stuff from time to time that will bog down the system sometimes.I use HD clouds, and NGX fine, with AutoGen one down from max. I do find though that I will get a slight slowdown if in external view over a complex addon airport for a long time....

Well i can do all of the above on MAX and TML=2048 but its not the NGX thats the problem . its the MD11 :-)/Michael Moe

never had OOM since migrating to Windows 7 64 bit.

Michael, have you tried the Bojote tweak website? I had OOM problems until i got my config file tweaked

yep and i am one on testing this very much. There is about 250.000kb of difference between NGX and MD11 so Ryan must have done something with NGX (gladly :-I )/Michael

Does it occur only in external views?If Rex is disabled?Any particular airport (if landing)

my point is that it must be the textures that swallow the amount of memory, but anyway i am a NGX fan of most so never mind putting Autogen and traffic back on the MD11. (nice plane btw)Michael
