February 28, 201214 yr Hi!I think I have found 2 Bugs, but at 1st I am not sure.1st: I often have the problem, that if I select on my LEGS Page a waypoint, that I get a "NOT IN DATABASE". It's confusing, I try it several times then it works. Or I want that the FMC should calculate the ZFW and get an "INVALID ENTRY", I click very often on the LSK and it works, but not immediately.2nd: When I have select e.g the B737-800 and load this one, and after loading, I decide to load B737-700 in the FS, there after the aircraft is always "jumping" and some textures on the 2D Cockpit are strange.Sorry if this was still reported, but perhaps there are solutions.

Maybe this will help correct your issue.Michael Cubine Michael Cubine

February 29, 201214 yr If your getting the NOT IN DATABASE error coming up, it means exactly that the waypoint, airway, vor etc is not in the cdu's data base(cant explain why it eventually works Ive never experienced this before)I would recommend updating the data baseand the flightplan is not entered in the legs page as you described as far as I know you enter the plan in on the RTE page, this might be an issue.....maybe.If your getting INVALID ENTRY when entering for the ZERO FUEL WEIGHT this means that the value you entered is way to big or small and physically an impossible value for the ZERO FUEL WEIGHT entry. The cdu should calculate this anyway as long as the GROSS WEIGHT and FUEL ONBOARD entries are filled outAlso check wether your entering KILOS OR POUNDS into the cdu, this might also cause a problemHope this helpsHave you downloaded the lastest service packs? February 29, 201214 yr I did actually find a bug , When loading a previous flight the turbofan textures are messed up . You must re select the airplane to fix it.
February 29, 201214 yr Commercial Member Nothing you've "found" is a bug - the NOT IN DATA BASE means the waypoint is either too old for the current navdata you have installed and no longer exists (more likely) or is too new for the navdata you have installed, in which case you need to update it.Do not load a new NGX variant or livery over top of the one that's already running - you need to shut the sim down and reload it clean to do that. March 13, 201214 yr Author Sorry for late answer. and the flightplan is not entered in the legs page as you described as far as I know you enter the plan in on the RTE page, this might be an issue.....maybe.Yes I know that, but if you entered your flightplan, it is better to check the route on your LEGS page with the PLN-Mode. And if you see there a empty field it is often necessary to select the next waypoint and copy it in that empty field.I think my question regarding the NOT IN DATE BASE error was not understood. I enter a waypoint into the FMC, this one was accepted. And if I select this waypoint to copy it in my empty field of my legs page, I get this notification. The FMC actually accept this waypoint just if a select it again, I get this notification. If I reselect this waypoint sometimes it works. I think it could not be the problem with old navdata.Could you nothing do because of reloading the FS, because of jumping of aircraft? It takes a lot of time to restart the FS.
