March 1, 201214 yr Am I the only one with a reversed hat switch? March 1, 201214 yr I didn't see an option to change this - when I go into Options | Game Controls and select my joystick, I see that my Hat switch is mapped to 2 things: Look Around (POV) and Walk: Turn (POV), depending on whether I am inside or outside the plane, I suppose. Neither of these has an option to reverse the axis. I like the way it works inside the cockpit, but it seems reversed when I'm in 3rd person view, so even if I could change it for one, I don't want to change it for the other. So, yeah, it doesn't seem intuitive for me. You can also hold down the right mouse button to look around. This might be the best solution. My site: www.martinstrong.com/FS_Project.htm
March 1, 201214 yr Moderator It should be possible to "fix this" via a hand-edit of the standard.xml file. I'll have to give it a whirl tomorrow. Right now I'd better go take my meds, check my blood sugar and EAT! Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
March 12, 201214 yr Did anybody ever figure this out? It's pretty annoying after years of getting used to the reverse controls. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
