March 8, 201214 yr Hi just taken off and went to retract the landing gear, and noticed had a warning indicating that my right hand gear was still down while the others were retracted. I than recycled the gear with the same results so searched the qrh chapter 14 14.8, 14.12 and 14.18 and didnt see any fault findings that i could solve the issue, so had to turn around and land again. March 8, 201214 yr When a gear fails in the down position, it is better to leave it in that position without cycling them down and up again, the risk is that the second time the gear will rise and stuck in the up position wich is pretty dangerous. The plane could fly back to the airport if gear failed in the down (and locked) position. When something fails is better to play as less as possible with them, you could either solve or increase the problems. A gear down is not a problem.Probably a technician missed to remove the downlock pin. :D Regards Andrea Daviero

March 8, 201214 yr This happened to me in one of my first flights (before any of the SP's). I had no clue about what was happening, since I was flying with all failures disabled! And sure enough, when I landed, the right landing gear failed and my right wing touched the ground. Never had any failure since though (still everything disabled).Best regards, Herman Nienhuis
