I am still pondering whether or not to purchase ezdok, one question is can I map the cameras to the hat switch which then will give me eight views. I understand that you can have more but these would be mostly interior.Thanks

Yes, you can.I personally use the hat switch for panning, and have assigned my cameras to ctrl-1 through ctrl-10, ctrl insert, delete, end, home, page up, and page down.

I have EZDOK mapped to keys 1-0 for internal views, Ctrl 1-0 for external views, my G13 is configured on one page to internal buttons, and another page external buttons. Easily accessible from everywhere. And each aircraft has a similar configuration, for instance FMC is always 4, my OH is always 6-7, my main view is always 1..., and keys D-F are used for "between" views, I have in each aircraft something I like to call extras, for instance 1 is a main panel, then press F, that goes to non-mapped view of MFD+ND, press again F, goes to ND+EICAS, 2 is my MCP, 3 are lights. In each aircraft the functions are the same, wherever the buttons/switches are.And do add more reality, I have V key mapped to mouse look in EZCA, and a space mapped to mouse look in FSUIPC. Both are successfully used to see around in the cockpit and outside.Also my G13 is being widely and mostly used for views, doors and movement.Hope that helps.

No worries how do I remove that category then? when I change view category from cockpit-outside that's fine the third category is the world cam just need to get rid of it then I'm fine, it's a pain. :)

I just deleted all cameras there, that was it I think. Since then it's not jumping into that category.

You can use the hat switch for panning AND selecting views by dedicating a buttun as a shift button (they use a different word for it). You can set that button to work 2 ways:press and hold while you pan with the HS, orpress and hold while you switch views with the HS.Using the ch yoke, for my GA aircraft I have four "crucial" views mapped to left,right, fwd,back. And from each of those views I use the left/right button under the hatswitch to select even more views which are relevant to the view selected with the hat switch.For example, the turbine duke:view leftmain pilot view - Left hat switchview rightleft side panelmain panel viewradios and GPS - right hat switchenvironmental controlthrottle levers, fuel selectorsrear cabin, right rear viewrear cabin, right fwd view - back hat switchrear cabin,, left fwd viewspot left front 45spot left wingspot left rear 45 - fwd hat switchspot right rear 45spot right wingetc etcConsidering the smoothness and quickness of switching views, and mouse look, I rarely pan with the hatswitch anymore, but like I said it's still mapped to do so.

Just the mouse pan and cockpit effects makes it worth it alone.Its a good addon to add to the must have's

Yeah deleted the cams Kostas now I get a view of plain ocean when I change category and there is no cams in there? Anyone else have any ideas how to stop moving to world am category as it plays havoc with my scenery when I change category again all my scenery is in the air, it only happens after world cam view?
