Every FO response is "Flaps up"

Recommended Posts

Bryan,I got your email reply. I'm going to uninstall, reconfigure my headset mic, and reinstall. Like I said, works perfectly fine with Level-D 767 and PMDG 747.Thanks for the quick response.

Bryan, it looks like the procedure I mentioned above did the trick. I hope this helps those who encountered the same problem.I'm ready to enjoy my latest FS2Crew addition!

It's not the MD80. I don't have it and have the same problem. Voice recognisihion works but it gets stuck in loop.

And now it goes from weird to bizarre.I just did a test, loading the NGX at Boeing Field, then moving the aircraft to ENGM (I am using the Mega Airport Oslo scenery in case you are wondering) before loading FS2crew. So far so good.I managed to get as far as starting engine number 2, then when I asked the first officer to start engine number 1, he started the "flaps up, flaps up, flaps up" stuff again.

I am having this same issue. Have uninstalled all other addons, reinstalled NGX+SP1C+FS2Crew. I did some experimenting: scrolled through the modes (ex. preflight, before t/o, etc.) and said a command after every switch. I went down the list and the FO quit saying "Flaps Up" when I got to the Takeoff mode. After I get to this stage, everything appears to work normally. So, it seems like the bug is somewhere between the Preflight and RWY Entry Procedure modes. Please help!!!Also, just found that when I say "Thank you" to the F/A, she responds normally, even in the modes where the FO is having a seizure.

I'm having the same problem. I've done a clean reinstall of the PMDG 737 NGX and FS2crew, but still have the same problem with the "flaps up" loop from the first officer. Any help would be appreciated.

I am having this problem also. I have put my 737 back in hanger until this gets fixed.

I am having same issue as well. Nothing works until I get to runway entry procedure and the FO starts responding correctly. Speech recognition is fine as captain green bar is picking up my words fine. Also did complete uninstall and reinstall of Ngx and FS2crew. Still same problem.George

I have the exact same issue. Uninstalled FS2crew and also "trained" speech recognition again. I am switching to PMDG's "short" turnaround panel state right after I load the aircraft. Could that be the source of the problem?

I just fixed mine by making sure not to change panel states once I loaded the aircraft. Just make sure you guys save which panel state to load from the start.edit: nvm, issue came back

Sorry to hear my fix did not work for everyone. I'm sure there will be a solution, especially since I was not the only one with the problem. I forgot to mention that I was getting the constant "Flaps up" response, interaction with ground and flight attendants was perfectly normal. I just did a Thomson flight form Venice to Mancherster, and it was fantastic from start to finish. I was impressed with the additional cabin announcements throughout various stages of the flight. The program once in a while will pickup some ambient noise and interpreted as "set", "check", etc. but I guess that's what a hard mute is for.Cheers!

I tried that solution, and it stopped the flaps up problem, all right. Not just that, he went completely silent on me. In the end I had to cycle out out the current mode and back again.Enroute from ENGM to ENBR now, fingers crossed that there won't be any further problems before I land.
