Marketplace crashes on start

Featured Replies

Hi,I have been running Flight without problems, but the Marketplace always crashes on start - that is quite unfortunate, because it seems that it is the only way to install additional content (am I wrong?). I am running Win XP SP3, updated. Is there any help?

I'm sure there are ways to run Flight on Win 95...but it won't be easy. Just get with the program. It's built based on a Win 7 platform.

The Marketplace web page crashed on me the first couple of tries. What worked was logging into the MS Flight web page first, then selecting the Marketplace option.Worth a try anyway, the extras especially the RV, are well worth getting.

I am ready and willing to pay the money, looking forward for new planes and challenges. The problem is with Maretplace program - is there any way to bypass it? I cannot run it from game nor shortcut...

This is not good. Before we had to tweak FSX, now we have to "tweak" the Marketplace. :Frustrated:

Well I think it's not that bad - I am the only person having this problem I know about. No luck through google-fu, and no luck on support (same working hours as I have :)).

Is your WinXP 32 bit or 64 bit? If 64 bit, that unfortunately is not supported.

32 Bit, however...PROBLEM SOLVEDAfter unsuccesfully contacting support I just downloaded latest .NET and Silverlight and voila! It works like a charm. However: Microsoft doesn't accept most of Czech embossed cards :Money Eyes: The are clearly trying to stop me from giving them any money :) I had to use 3ed party web to buy MS points (sucks) because Pay Pal doesn't work for Czech Rep. in MS World :Waiting: Boy the pain to be legal...
