March 24, 200422 yr hiI am looking for a working Boeing 737-200 panel for FS2004 with Steam-Gauges.I have tested and downloaded numerous 737-200 panels but all of them had Richard Probst 732 gauges that didnt work with FS2004 and gave an error message when I loaded the aircraft.I have tried to look for a panel without those gauges with google and other download sites but without any result :(If anyone knows of a good 737-200 with Steam-Gauges and without the Richard Probst gauges please post the link here.thanks in advance, Jani
March 24, 200422 yr Go do a search at flightsim.com using Boeing 737 in the FS2004 panels section and you'll be amazed at the panels that come up.Lee Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090

March 24, 200422 yr I'll check flightsim.com when I have time to press the F5 button zillion times :(I have also checked the tinmouse 737 panel but the gauges wont work in FS2004 either.
March 24, 200422 yr Suit yourself, but there is a very nice 737 analog panel there which works fine with Eric's wonderful A/C. File name is pb737204.zip. When you have time of course....Ed Green
March 24, 200422 yr JaniWith all the trouble you, but no others, are having, I should check that you have both fssound.dll installed in MODULES with the appropriate reference in your FS9.CFG and that you also have GAUGESOUND.DLL installed in your root FS9 directory. Also, that you are wearing the right kind of hat. Very important when flying.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
March 25, 200422 yr >Also, that you are wearing the right kind of hat. Very>important when flying. And pants. Need to wear pants apparently - at least to have fun landing on carriers, I'm told.I can't get the tinmouse panel to work either, Mark. I have FSSound.dll with the oldmodules line, and gaugesound.dll in the right places. Tried the tinmouse march 8 and 23 gauge builds, both fs2k4 and fs2k2 versions in FS2k4, in either the main gauges or the panel folders...no joy. I get a "you can continue to use fs, but the following software must be disabled: B732.gau" error...Best,sg [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
March 25, 200422 yr My tinmouse problem may be solved! I replaced the version of FSSound.dll that was in my modules folder with a fresh copy of 1.5.0.2 downloaded from the developers' site, and everything seems to be working. Not sure what was wrong with the FSSound that was in there, but there you have it.Thanks all!Best,sg [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
March 25, 200422 yr May I ask where you got that version of FSSound 1.5.0.2. And ,if you could, send it to me [email protected]., Thanks Bob
March 25, 200422 yr I downloaded the "end-user" version from http://fssound.hn.org/It is about 9k. The version that I had in the modules version, which was 1.5-something (last time I checked, but some addon could have replaced it with a different version or it was corrupt) was 12k, but didn't work with the panel.I now have this panel working and I am quite impressed - great work Richard Probst and others at tinmouse! I know what I'm doing this weekend. Thanks again for everyone's help with this, including a personal email I received from Richard Probst - talk about service!Best,sg [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
March 25, 200422 yr hiNow I managed to get the Tinmouse 737-200 panel to work. Last time I forgot to put the FSSound.dll in the fs9.cfg, and now it works. The panel is really ncie looking but I cannot get it to work with FSNavigator :( anyone know how to make it work with FSNav ?Are there any 732 panels that work with FSNav ?Jani
March 25, 200422 yr Is it just me or did Richard leave out the autothrottle and the altitude select function. Definitelly down to basics with this fabulous panel...Mauricio
March 25, 200422 yr Now, I just got this puppy running last eve, so...Altitude select is a little hard to find. From the second paragraph on the tinmouse.org site:"If you click on the Altitude Alert light, it will bring up a readout for a few seconds. The alert altitude can be adjusted with this readout but only in thousands of feet. For example, 25 equals 25,000 feet. This is all temporary until the actual controller is finished."haven't gotten around to auto-throttle yet, but I think there's a bug on the IAS gauge?***not a programming bug, but an Adjustment bug***Best,sg [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
March 25, 200422 yr Author The panel is not complete. Note it's a work in progress. For some of the features found in other panels, refer to key shortcuts.
