March 12, 201214 yr Commercial Member you need to make sure to tiedown your boat or the current will take it away . the same goes for the brakes on any aircraft or next thing you know your plane its going down the hill . :LMAO: :LMAO: :LMAO: :LMAO: ....A coupe years ago, one of my teachers who happened to be a pilot (he owns his own kit-built GlaStar) didn't die down his plane and it ended up rolling off the tarmac and getting stuck in a ditch at the top of a steep hill. Not much damage...only a punctured wing, I believe. Could have been worse if it had kept going. :shok: Brandon Filer
March 12, 201214 yr Heck, I've seen a P-3C Orion that rolled 250' overnight because the brakes weren't set due to freezing conditions, no tiedown points were available, and the chocks were somehow left in the plane.Luckily, the spots on the next row forward were empty. No harm, no foul.
