March 12, 201214 yr Author Sorry perhaps my confusion trying to understand the primary, secondary, pilot, first officer commands. After more reading and trial it seems no error as reported. The message in the primary window is asking to raise the gear, the message in the secondary window is giving me the option to abort.Matt
March 12, 201214 yr Firstly you don't load the default plane and then the NGX. If you read the NGX manual it states; There is a common misconception that when loading a complex simulation like thePMDG 737NGX that you should first load thedefault Cessna into the simulator, then load the PMDG 737NGX.This is not a factual conception and in fact we do not recommend the practice at all. What is required however is for the defaultUltralight at Friday Harbor to be your default startup state in FSX.What it is saying is load FSX as normal and then select the NGX. Pick your airport and time and the press "Fly now".Secondly, I am guessing that FS2Crew is asking you to choose 2 options during the take-off. Do you want to carry on a bring the gear up or have you seen something you do not like and want to abort. Pressing one of the other buttons will make your selection. You do not have to answer both.
March 13, 201214 yr Commercial Member That is correct, you do "not" need to load the default aircraft first with the NGX or FS2Crew.However, the NGX should not be the default aircraft you see when you first load FSX.PMDG recommends against that, and I think having the NGX as the default aircraft is causing some problems for some users.I think I follow the original question... "abort" is just an option to let you know that it's there if you need it.... You don't need to activate it just because it's there. It will extinguish by itself.Cheers, B.
