March 17, 201214 yr I think it's been noted already that the Autothrottle ON/OFF voice command is reversed. The command for the Flight Director ON/OFF also has this bug. Commanding them OFF has the FO turning them ON and vice versa. If it's already been noted then fine, but do you think this can be fixed for the upcoming SP1?On a 2nd point - my FO volume seems very inconsistent. His responses/confirmations to commands have a much lower volume than when he initiates checklists etc. The captains volume (during briefings etc) is also much louder than the FO. This is all with one constant setting of the volume knob on the main panel... Anyone else have this problem?Adam.
March 17, 201214 yr Commercial Member FD's have been fixed in SP1.Inconsistent volume... at the moment it appears to be hardware specific. The sound file recordings themselves are all of a equal volumeFS2Crew uses 3D sound, and, for example, when the FA comes in to talk to you, she should be heard via your right rear speakers.On some setups, the uses of the right rear speakers seems to trigger an unintended volume change.I'm currently investigating this more.Cheers, B. I tried the autothrottle off command last night for the first time last night at touchdown to VHHX (Kai Tak). Then noticed the plane wasnt slowing down. I remember hearing the FO say "Autothrottle off" and was wondering why it was on, thought it was something I did wrong. Good to know, and glad its been sorted via the SP.
