Brilliant question though on Cabin Crew

Featured Replies

Hi BryanReally love Fs2crew for the NGX, I noticed that you can hear the cabin crew running through the safety brief for the pax I was wondering if more cabin crew ambience could be added, I do recall in an older version hearing all the chatter as the pax were being greeted as they walked past the cabin door and also when they unload. wonder if more cabin noise can be added in a Service Pack through out the flight such as cruise and descent etc etc. Other alternative would be for me to get something like fspassenger or something similar. To me its make a big difference with the cabin ambiance in the background, thanks again fs2crew makes a huge difference to the NGX and would love to see its capability expandedWayne

Hi Wayne,Glad you like it! Good ideas, but we only do what's realistic. With the Cockpit door open, I'm not sure if you can hear pax boarding the plane in a 737. I'll ask Damien. But in cruise that door would be closed, so you won't hear any cabin noise sounds (like talking pax), so I won't be adding anything there for cruise.

ok understood was not sure if you could hear anything, I also want it to be totally realistic, thanksWayne

With the cockpit door open you'd be able to hear them, but with the cockpit door closed you won't,..when the cockpit door is closed you don't hear very much,..not even the cabin crew safety brief I'm afraid. The ambiance with the door open will be added with the door open will be added for the SP, you can also hear the cabin announcements right now, they're already in, all you have to do it turn up the knob labeled "CAB" on the fs2crew main panel.

Hi Bryan,I read this with concern. I have GSX and get the sounds from the cabin in that. I know that AES also simulates cabin ambience. If you implement it could you make sure that it can be turned off otherwise you would hear double.

I'll do it this way... If AES is selected to "YES" on the FS2Crew Config Panel, the planing and de-planing pax sounds won't play.Cheers,
