FMC Init - ILS Missing

Featured Replies

Hello, Hope this passes Mods. This was posted in more detail at Navigraph. I have Barcelona airport charts which show RW25R as having an ILS 109.5. Did a flight last night and on entering Init page there was no ILS/Course displayed. I abandoned flight but later thought that if I had continued flight and entered the ILS frequency into radios would I still have managed an ILS landing. I know that trying it would give me an answer but I thought the easy route would be if some person knew the answer in advance. Many thanks. richard welsh.

Maybe Navigraph forgot to enter the frequency in the Cicle. Such things can happen. Anyway you can still continue and fly. The fact that it is not in the FMC doesn't mean that it isn't there anylonger. You can fly it without probelms. And even for the case that you really won't receve an ILS you can still make a visual approach, or use the IAN. Also you could have done an VOR/DME or NDB approach. There are plenty alternatives to an ILS approach.

Greetings from the 737 flightdeck!

Basically, you can define three locations where approach can be or not be present:-reality-FMS data in NGX (supplied by Navigraph)-FS data, supplied by scenery (default, or add-on)It is important to define where the approach is and is not present, when discusssing such a problem. Also, state if you have any scenery for that airport installed, and if you have any traffic add-on, especially JustFlight Ultimate Traffic, installed.

Hello, Thanks to Emanual and Peter for your info, which I will bear in mind. I am sorry Matt but I am not familiar with the APP PAGE you refer to, or did you mean the Arrival page, if so, I did select the runway and star. regards. richard welsh.Hello, Thanks to Emanual and Peter for your info, which I will bear in mind. Just checked this and it works fine here:LEBL_ILS25R.jpgI'd say you've mostly likely got a problem with your scenery/AFCAD somehow. If there's not an ILS there in the FSX "world" then it won't work.
