March 22, 201214 yr I too was interested in Multi Crew Experience. You should read this thread from PMDG: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/357841-pmdg-737ngx-with-multicrew-experience-finally-talking-to-your-fo/
March 22, 201214 yr This is touchy. It does mostly work, but I heartily recommend fs2crew instead. It is more reliable and will soon (sp1) get even better control over the knobsand and buttons. Sent from my Iconia A500 using Tapatalk Frank Olaf Sem-Jacobsen
March 23, 201214 yr Last post in that thread RSR was saying that the program violates the ngx EULA, so he advises against purchasing. Tyler St. Peter Specs- i7-950 OC@ 3.4Ghz, Asus P6TSE, ATI HD5770, 750W PSU, Water cooled, Hitachi 1TB HDD
March 23, 201214 yr Yep. Add to that a rather obnoxious developer, who claims things that are not true... No, if you want a good multicrew experience, you need to stop by Bryan York. --Peter Fabian

March 23, 201214 yr Commercial Member I was curious if MCE is compatible with PMDG 737 NGX? Thanks...Good day everyone,PMDG released the NGX early AUG 2011.We acquired a copy at the end of August and started working on how to interface it.There was nothing in the original EULA that prevented us from doing so.Along came SP1 and yet again, nothing in the second EULA said we couldn’t interface it.While we worked our socks off to get some decent level of interfacing (as we do with many other aircraft), the fs2crew crowd started lobbying for the SDK, even threatening not to buy any more PMDG stuff until they get it out.MCE has announced support for the NGX on DEC 1 st. 2011 (see Avsim news)A few weeks later PMDG released SP1b, and decided to change the terms of the EULA. Maybe it’s their right to do so, but we couldn’t have been technically guilty of EULA breach at the time MCE added support for the NGX.And this is where the issue (if any) arose. It’s like you go on an agreement with some landlord to rent some premises. The landlord stipulates anything you cannot sell. You abide by these rules. Now your competitor finds out you’re selling fish (and he happens to do the same) and tells your landlord (who happens to be his friend) about it.Your landlord (for some reason) then decides unilaterally to modify the terms of the deal.We let everyone draw his own conclusions. In spite of all of this, we decided to throw away 3 months of hard work in favour of rewriting the interfacing to use the SDK. It only takes a couple of weeks this wayNext week, will have interfacing with the NGX via the SDK, and put the matter to rest.I will also add this…MCE runs in its own process. It doesn’t have to compete with other add-ons trying to grab valuable system resources within the FSX process. What that means is that MCE will unlikely result in a flight going up in smoke as a result of the speech engine or FO having a bad day. No compatibility issues with any other add-on that needs to edit “panel.cfg” either, because MCE needs none of that.Thank youYep. March 24, 201214 yr And for those who are interested in the original question:yes it works since 4 months now for the NGX, as well as it does for all the other airplanes. One program for all, no seperate modules.I'm very happy with it and with the additional features like Voxscript ans Voxkey. :PCheers,Etienne Lalieu Etienne Lalieu
