March 26, 201214 yr Hi BryanI decided to post this in the general forum because it happens with all my Voice Commander versions(767 ngx 747)...im fsx win 7 64 btw. What happens is all of a sudden the FO volume drops a lot and he becomes muffled. I can still hear him but cant make out what hes saying because he is talking in a low mufled voice. I dont know what happens it seems very random.thanks lee
March 27, 201214 yr Commercial Member Hi Lee,From experience, this issue seems to be hardware specific. What kind of audio hardware are you using?Best, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
March 27, 201214 yr Author Hi I'll check tomorrow. But right now I can tell you it's just a built in sound card on my motherboard there's no separate sound card. it's Realtek stuff too. Sorry ill give you better info tomorrow Lee
March 27, 201214 yr I'm sure I saw a topic on a similar problem just yesterday, but can't find it anymore :Hypnotized:The solution was to set Windows Speech to "do nothing" when a particular thing happens.. or something to that effect. Sorry, no idea what it was..
March 27, 201214 yr Author Thanks I'll give it a tryEdit: but the windows speech recognition isn't open with fs2crew. FS2 doesn't open it up does it? I'll give it a try tho it can't hurtThanks

March 27, 201214 yr Found it! My memory failed, it was only relevant to Radar Contact and FS2Crew working together. Just something similar to this problem. Sorry!http://forum.avsim.net/topic/367318-fs2crew-and-radar-contact-4/
March 27, 201214 yr Author any ideas bryan ive played around with the settings a little but still nothingand its just the FO the ground vrews work fine
March 28, 201214 yr Maybe some problems with the right channel of your stereo speakers? Are all other sounds playing normally via the RIGHT speaker?
March 28, 201214 yr Author Should they just be cowning out the right speaker? If they're not maybe thats the problem I will check Thanks
March 28, 201214 yr As far as I remember, the FO voice should be coming out of the right speaker (he sits to your right) unless the headset option is in use. All other sounds (??) come out of both speakers.See here for clarification: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/366990-fo-audio-issue/
March 30, 201214 yr Commercial Member If the Headset option is select 'off', the FO should come through your right speaker... remember he's sitting on your right. And FS2Crew uses 3D sound.Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
