March 29, 201214 yr I am an owner of the Saitek Multi Panel and I was just wondering if anyone knows how to get the auto pilot portion of the panel to work with the MCP on the NGX or any of the PMDG planes.Devin Mack Devin Mack "Why yes I do sit up in trees and watch airplanes land in my free time, do you have any better suggestions for my weekend?"
March 29, 201214 yr I guess you can do that through assigning key presses for each action in both the panel and NGX.At least that's what I do with my joystick through the Saitek software (no FSUIPC although I have it registered) and it works great!CMD A on/offA/T on/offTOGA on/offFlaps up/downTrim wheelReverse thrustLanding gear up/downAll these are programmed as key presses which makes my much easier during takeoff and landings! March 30, 201214 yr Author The problem is with the multi panel you can't assign the buttons the trimwheel, flaps and course selector work but nothing else Devin Mack "Why yes I do sit up in trees and watch airplanes land in my free time, do you have any better suggestions for my weekend?"

April 1, 201214 yr I use the SPAD driver with the Saitek Panels and they work fine for me. You can assign all buttons.http://fstools.weebly.com/Udo
April 1, 201214 yr Author I'll have to give that a try once I get back home Devin Mack "Why yes I do sit up in trees and watch airplanes land in my free time, do you have any better suggestions for my weekend?"
April 1, 201214 yr IMHO the key presses are not really the correct method, if you fly in windowed with lot's of add-on, you send command to what ever active software you have. The only possible solution is the green light from PMDG to use the SDK with FSUIPC or someone doing a DLL library for interface, like what did Leveld.
June 7, 201213 yr new update of SPAD drivers available it works great for me!!!! With special mode for PMDG NGX!! Enjoy NG!!!!
