  1. I had a lot of crashes with EZDOK in P3D v3. I switched to Aivlasoft SimpleCam and it works great. Doug Wilson
  2. You are my hero today. I spent almost all of last weekend trying to install Windows 10. This worked. Thank you!!!!! Doug Wilson
  3. Seeing PMDG's commitment to P3D was the trigger and I am now completely transitioned to P3D. It took about a day to get everything I use converted over. It's nice to be on an updated platform again. Everything is working smoothly and I'm glad I made the switch. If you're thinking about it, and dedicated this hobby I think now is the right time and this is the right application. It wasn't that complicated for me. Lots of downloading. I recommend using a download manager like Internet Download Manager. Good Luck! OrbX, ASN, Vpilot, Flightbeam, FSDT, Aivlasoft EFB, 777 all working great. Doug
  4. Control Panel->System&Security->Windows Firewall->Allow a program through Windows Firewall->Allow another program->Select ASN->Add. This works great with the NGX but the 777 still stutters but it's not bad enough to ruin the experience (assuming this is still ASN). Good luck, Doug
  5. Ok, I fixed the freezing problem by simply allowing ASN through the Windows Firewall. Good Luck, Doug
  6. I have 4.9.2.7 and B5099. My intermittent "freezes" last up to 10 seconds, sometimes more which will not work. It's very consistent. I've tried everything I can think of so I'll wait for another update and submit a formal ticket. Thanks, Doug ps, that's pretty cool that you're working on the Memphis Belle Dale, nice to touch and feel history.
  7. Thanks for the suggestion. I've installed the suggested version of fsuipc and the problem persists. Doug Wilson
  8. I just upgraded to AS NEXT and FSX while flying the NGX freezes about every 5-6 seconds for about the same amount of time. I exited NEXT and the problem stopped, started it again and the problem re-appeared. Went back to AS2012 for now. Any ideas? Thanks, Doug Wilson
  9. Thank you! 2/3rds on the sensitivity did the trick. Brakes are working correctly now.
  10. I'm using CH Pro pedals, properly calibrated, and they work with one exception. After releasing the park brake, all is good during taxi. However if i use the toe brakes on either pedal (which work fine), upon release the aircraft will not maintain speed. It's as if the brakes are sticking but not on full. If I set the parking brake and release it again quickly, the problem is gone and taxi is normal again. The CH control manager shows they are returning to the home position and there is no physical sticking on the pedals. Has anyone come across this? This is happening with all the updates and a 900. All drivers are up to date. Thanks, Doug
  11. I'd buy a G550 or 650 before the DC6
  12. Here's what I got from support on the multi-panel. Doesn't look good. Unfortunately we don't usually release plug-ins for individual aircrafts within Flight Simulators but if PMDG were to release an aircraft using traditional Flight Simulator parameters then our products would be compatible. My best advice would be to check online in forums or PMDG's site to see which planes should be compatible with our products. I hope this information was beneficial to you, but if you have anymore questions at all just let me know and I'll see what I can do for you. Thank you for contacting Mad Catz, have a great weekend!
  13. Anybody have the multi-panel working with NGX yet?
  14. Does anyone have the multi-panel working with the NGX other than flaps and trim since the SDK came out? Thanks, Doug
  15. Nevermind. The server I've been using was down (unfortunate conincidence with FS2Crew install). I changed servers and verified FS2Crew and FSINN are working fine together. Thanks
  16. Yes there is a keypress on the control panel to set the transponder mode.
  17. I'm not sure. I use a keypress on the fsinn control panel to connect to Vatsim if that's what you mean.
  18. I installed FS2Crew and now FSINN will not connect with Vatsim. Squawkbox works but not FSINN. Only problem is that I'm not a Squawkbox fan. AAre FS2Crew and FSINN incompatible? Thanks
  19. Thanks for all the tips, they really helped. Just landed at -45 fpm! I also tweaked CH yoke with the control manager. Sensitivity 65 with one click up on the gain for the Y axis (elevator).
  20. Thanks. I just flew the route shown below with the same principles and it worked out fine.KPVD PVD180 JUMPR MVY260 SHLEP J121 PLUME V139 BRIGS JIMGE2 KPHL (flightaware)I understand now.
  21. How would you program that in the CDU?
  22. I'm watching the rate in the HUD and using "luvcars" (swavirtual) software that records the touchdown rate. Thanks for all the feedback. I love Bob Hoover stories. Thanks,Doug
  23. I guess I have more work to do.
  24. Ok, I've been practicing visual approaches and manual landings for awhile now. After calibrating and tweaking the CH yoke and pedals, practicing, kicking off autopilot at 1000 agl and autothrottle at 200 agl, I'm averaging 150-200 fpm touchdowns (or about 2.5-3 fps). How am I doing? What is a good real world touch down rate? I know this is not greasing the landings but are these teeth rattlers. Thanks,Doug Wilson
