Prepar3D V3 crash with 737NGX
I had a lot of crashes with EZDOK in P3D v3. I switched to Aivlasoft SimpleCam and it works great. Doug Wilson

I've had it with FSX, I think it's time for P3D
Seeing PMDG's commitment to P3D was the trigger and I am now completely transitioned to P3D. It took about a day to get everything I use converted over. It's nice to be on an updated platform again. Everything is working smoothly and I'm glad I made the switch. If you're thinking about it, and dedicated this hobby I think now is the right time and this is the right application. It wasn't that complicated for me. Lots of downloading. I recommend using a download manager like Internet Download Manager. Good Luck! OrbX, ASN, Vpilot, Flightbeam, FSDT, Aivlasoft EFB, 777 all working great. Doug

AS NEXT Causing FSX Intermittent Freezing
halobiont replied to halobiont's topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support ForumControl Panel->System&Security->Windows Firewall->Allow a program through Windows Firewall->Allow another program->Select ASN->Add. This works great with the NGX but the 777 still stutters but it's not bad enough to ruin the experience (assuming this is still ASN). Good luck, Doug

AS NEXT Causing FSX Intermittent Freezing
halobiont replied to halobiont's topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support ForumOk, I fixed the freezing problem by simply allowing ASN through the Windows Firewall. Good Luck, Doug

AS NEXT Causing FSX Intermittent Freezing
halobiont replied to halobiont's topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support ForumI have 4.9.2.7 and B5099. My intermittent "freezes" last up to 10 seconds, sometimes more which will not work. It's very consistent. I've tried everything I can think of so I'll wait for another update and submit a formal ticket. Thanks, Doug ps, that's pretty cool that you're working on the Memphis Belle Dale, nice to touch and feel history.

AS NEXT Causing FSX Intermittent Freezing
I just upgraded to AS NEXT and FSX while flying the NGX freezes about every 5-6 seconds for about the same amount of time. I exited NEXT and the problem stopped, started it again and the problem re-appeared. Went back to AS2012 for now. Any ideas? Thanks, Doug Wilson

Sticky Brakes
Thank you! 2/3rds on the sensitivity did the trick. Brakes are working correctly now.

Sticky Brakes
I'm using CH Pro pedals, properly calibrated, and they work with one exception. After releasing the park brake, all is good during taxi. However if i use the toe brakes on either pedal (which work fine), upon release the aircraft will not maintain speed. It's as if the brakes are sticking but not on full. If I set the parking brake and release it again quickly, the problem is gone and taxi is normal again. The CH control manager shows they are returning to the home position and there is no physical sticking on the pedals. Has anyone come across this? This is happening with all the updates and a 900. All drivers are up to date. Thanks, Doug

Corporate Aviation for the flight sim community
I'd buy a G550 or 650 before the DC6

Does Saitek's switch panel work with NGX?
Here's what I got from support on the multi-panel. Doesn't look good. Unfortunately we don't usually release plug-ins for individual aircrafts within Flight Simulators but if PMDG were to release an aircraft using traditional Flight Simulator parameters then our products would be compatible. My best advice would be to check online in forums or PMDG's site to see which planes should be compatible with our products. I hope this information was beneficial to you, but if you have anymore questions at all just let me know and I'll see what I can do for you. Thank you for contacting Mad Catz, have a great weekend!

NGX Multi-Panel
Does anyone have the multi-panel working with the NGX other than flaps and trim since the SDK came out? Thanks, Doug
