April 18, 201214 yr Hello, I was wondering if somebody has experience in using Saitek's switch panel with NGX. I'd like to use the panel for switching lights and maybe use the rotary switch for transponder. Am I able to map the keys with FSUIPC? Thanks in advance! jussi finnilä
April 18, 201214 yr Hello, I was wondering if somebody has experience in using Saitek's switch panel with NGX. I'd like to use the panel for switching lights and maybe use the rotary switch for transponder. Am I able to map the keys with FSUIPC? Thanks in advance! I've been using the radio panel and works fine. I can switch frequencies and such with no issues. Transponder should also work but i really never fly online to test it but im sure it works. The switch panel I only use for the landing gear indicator and switch. The light switches saitek provides are only useful for GA aircraft, I use the VC because every light is controlled differently. I hope this answers your questions. - Raul Ramirez
April 18, 201214 yr Author Thanks for your answer. My goal, for example, is to map all four LDG lights to four separate switches in Saitek switch panel..I'm not sure if it's possible though.. jussi finnilä
April 27, 201214 yr Here's what I got from support on the multi-panel. Doesn't look good. Unfortunately we don't usually release plug-ins for individual aircrafts within Flight Simulators but if PMDG were to release an aircraft using traditional Flight Simulator parameters then our products would be compatible. My best advice would be to check online in forums or PMDG's site to see which planes should be compatible with our products. I hope this information was beneficial to you, but if you have anymore questions at all just let me know and I'll see what I can do for you. Thank you for contacting Mad Catz, have a great weekend! April 28, 201214 yr To make it work you would have to use the spad drivers for the switch panel and create mouse macros within fsx using the registered version of fsuipc. Then you would have to map those macros to a key combo. With the macros mapped to keys you would then use spad to map those key combos to a switch. A bit kludgy but it should work. DJuan Carter
