Hello, I was wondering if somebody has experience in using Saitek's switch panel with NGX. I'd like to use the panel for switching lights and maybe use the rotary switch for transponder. Am I able to map the keys with FSUIPC? Thanks in advance!

I have i7 950 quad core. I'm running NGX with win7 64bit, active sky evolution, voxatc and ezca with track ir5. I have one 1TB harddisk divided into two parts. FSX is not installed in the same drive with win7. I'm not sure if that matters. So far I've had only one panel freeze. Otherwise everything's been flawless. I'm getting frames between 8 and 30 (limited), depending on the clouds and ai traffic. I've plans for little overclocking but I haven't had time (or knowledge) to do it yet :)

I'd like to ask what is the situation with the SDK? I think maybe I've missed something. Is it out yet or is there any news on when it can be expected to be out? NGX is superb and I can't wait to connect my opencockpits' hardware into it :)jussi f

I have 6gb ram and i'm using win7 64bit.

I have this issue every time I fly over the runway treshold on approach, my sim freezes for half a second. Its not any pmdg related thing, but I was wondering if someone knows how to fix that. It's very annoying. jussi f

CH yoke and pedals, saitek throttles, TrackIR5, Opencockpits' 737 MCP, EFIS & CDU + multiradio & general simulation panel. iPad for charts. I'm very happy for SDK, so opencockpits can write working drivers for their hardware :)Jussi F

So guys. What is the first thing you're going to do with NGX? I have two options I haven't yet decided which one to follow.1st:start a free flight ready on the runway. crtl-e + full power and some manouvers ignoring alarms and probably a very bad landing.:) 2nd:read the manual, do my homework before even starting the sim. testing every button and following a proper start up procedure etc..The most probably I will do both in that particular order :DJussi

Is there any information on system specs for NGX? I recently updated my system just for FSX and NGX. I can get 30fps with full settings on default aircrafts, but on j41 VC I get only 5 to 15 fps. I wonder what numbers I'll have with NGX. Wouldn't like to lower the settings too much for NGX. i7 950, gtx 470, 6gigs mem, win7 64bit. Not overclocked. Jussi F

Hello Michael,Can you help me out with my problem with opencocpits FMC and PMDG737?I need some help with installing Opencockpits FMC with PMDG737 on FS2004. I've read the manual written by you, but I just cannot make it work properly. I'm not too familiar with SIOC and after struggling for three days I'm going to need to ask for help. So far I've got gauge screen to work and my keys seem to work as well, though my IOCP console data is just a bit different from your reference image. After inputs from CDUkey and LastCDUkey I also get input from something called VSaff. So the question is, is my keys just mapped wrong or did I mess up with connection. If I press the "U" key from CDU for example, it turns off the battery of my 737. And so on. If the keys are mapped wrong, I don't know how to fix that. If it's a problem with something else, I'm unable to seek for the error. Do I need to have some "default" config for the keys in sioc.ini or sioc script file? For example there is settings for Project Magenta's CDU in the install zip. Do I need to modify that or get a fresh one somewhere?! I noticed that the requirement for PMDG MCP driver is version FS9.1. I seem to have FS9.0 and the update patch didn't work for me. Could that be the issue? Hope not.. I will appreciate your answer!
