August 15, 201114 yr Could we just check that there isn't a processer issue...Many CTD folk seem to have i7's whereas Core2 Duo (and AMD 2 core flavours) seem to be ok. Worth a check?
August 15, 201114 yr i5 here. only random CTD on exit, everything else runs great. August 15, 201114 yr Here, Core i7 2600+ Gigabyte Z68X UD4 B3. Perfect, since release day. Best. MIquel Egea.
August 15, 201114 yr I have i7 950 quad core. I'm running NGX with win7 64bit, active sky evolution, voxatc and ezca with track ir5. I have one 1TB harddisk divided into two parts. FSX is not installed in the same drive with win7. I'm not sure if that matters. So far I've had only one panel freeze. Otherwise everything's been flawless. I'm getting frames between 8 and 30 (limited), depending on the clouds and ai traffic. I've plans for little overclocking but I haven't had time (or knowledge) to do it yet :) jussi finnilä
August 15, 201114 yr Hardware:i7, 8 GB Ram, ASUS GTX 560 Ti DCII Software:- Win 7 64 (German, English Language Pack installed on top)- FSX SP2 (no acc.pack) (installed on C: )- Active Sky Evolution- FSINN (Vatsim) No issues, No CTDs, No freezes. August 15, 201114 yr 980x overclocked and water-cooled. Stable at around 50cFSCaptainASEFSGlobalUTXGEXFSC No problems at all, actually not strictly true, my saitek throttles are jumpy, but that's on all aircraft! Ian R Tyldesley
August 15, 201114 yr i7 950 @ 4.0, never had a ctd, only one DU freezebefore the hotfix. Flawlesly since! ------------------------ Mattias Nordin ESOW
August 15, 201114 yr i7 960 endless problems. Approaching the ditching stage, and not the processor! KInd regards, Ian McPhail
August 15, 201114 yr Overclocked Intel E6600 (3.06 gig one) here and no problems. No CTD, no OOM errors and this in 32 bit Vista with UAC turned off, USERVA switch and raised custom Virtual Memory settings. Quite high settings and though high volume airports are a little laggy I can land and use them perfectly. At this level of hardware all I need to do is change the video card until I can afford the likes of I5 K series. Until then info from threads like these is very useful as well as specs used. I`m proud that someone quoted my specs too and decided to get the 737 NGX because I had very few problems with a range of aircraft.
August 15, 201114 yr i5 2500K @ 4,7GHz. Clean install of Windows before install of FSX, NGX etc.Getting CTD when exiting FSX, when selection new airplane in-game and when loading save-game in-game.I used to get CTD when using FSX in-game menus but solved this by inserting Vista UIAutomationCore.dll into FSX root directory (and into SysWOW64)I'm getting small "freezes" which lasts for about 2-3 seconds once in a while. E.g. when saving.UAC turned off.Running as Admin Martin Stendersø SPECS: i5 2500K @ 4,7GHz 1GB GTX 560 TI (900MHz) (ASUS) 4 GB GT Dominator 1866 MHz DDR3 RAM (CORSAIR) P8P67 Motherboard (ASUS) Windows 7 SP1 64-Bit FSX SP2 Deluxe
August 15, 201114 yr I7 2600k@ 4.6. I've never had a CTD with this aircraft. The only problem I've had is some nav data issues and that's not PMDG's fault.
