If you are having no problems...

I was having no problems on my i7920 until I punched in a higher cruise altitude than what the fmc wanted. First CTD.

i5 2500K @ 4,7GHz. Clean install of Windows before install of FSX, NGX etc.Getting CTD when exiting FSX, when selection new airplane in-game and when loading save-game in-game.I used to get CTD when using FSX in-game menus but solved this by inserting Vista UIAutomationCore.dll into FSX root directory (and into SysWOW64)I'm getting small "freezes" which lasts for about 2-3 seconds once in a while. E.g. when saving.UAC turned off.Running as Admin
Similar specs here (Q9550 overclocked to 3.8 and GeForce 275GTX) under Win 7 64-bit...no problems so far.

i7-930 (second step in Turbo mode), 9gb Ram, ATI 5830, x3 23" LCD monitorsFSX SP2, REX (textures only used as aircraft won't climb well with REX weather engine running), UTX, FSceneAffinity Mask=15, Disable PreLoad, HIGHMEM=1, FSL Texture Fixes installed. Issues I've seen sporatically: FMC often takes a long time to chew on new data entries made during flight and will sometimes hang up, and can't re-select approach after Go Around, spoilers not retracting after full stop (not sure if they're supposed to do this automatically). Suffered one panel freeze early on before Affinity Mask and Disable PreLoad additions to FSX config. Dave

Everybody including me, is running around scratching thier heads looking for a common denominator. I hope at the end of all this, PMDG doesn't just say here's the fix, now go fly. Because i for one would like to know what is causing this.

Could we just check that there isn't a processer issue...Many CTD folk seem to have i7's whereas Core2 Duo (and AMD 2 core flavours) seem to be ok. Worth a check?

I'm not familiar with the affinity mask and preload tweaks. Anyone have a link with more information? Nevermind. This is the first thing I found in a google search:"I you have sp2 installed, there is no need to reference affinity mask in fsx.cfg"

i3-370M running on laptop8GBWin 7 64 HPREX2 - Textures only with clouds set at 1024UT2Sliders between 3/4 and fullFPS between 15-25. Only one CTD but its a FSX issue. No hot-fix applied. NGX works and flys great. No freezes in 2d or VC.

I'm a core2 user. I get graphics corruption if I have to switch to windowed mode. It can usually be 'snapped out of it' by bringing up the task manager. I get the occasional CTD when I click 'end flight', but my performance is getting acceptable after several days of tweaks and optimizations.
