I have a 920 at 3.6. I do sometimes have a freeze moving to a CTD, especially if I've left it paused for awhile. But, largely ok. I have not installed the hotfix, and I'm not sure if I need to. I didn't download it until Friday night after release, right about the time they were fixing it. Is there a way to tell if I have the hot fix imbeded?

I have an overclocked i7 and couldn't complete one single flight with the 737ngx. 20+ flights and CDT/BSOD every single time, mostly on decent. I was about to give up, but then read something about the difficult relationship between hyperthreading and fsx.Normaly this is managed thru the AffinityMask entry in the fsx.cfg; so i changed the value, but again CTD's every time! So i disabled HT in BIOS and what can i say: not one CTD since then (30+ flights). If you have CTD's and HT enabled: TURN IT OFF!!! This was the solution for me and im so happy because this plane is by far the best and i was about to make a complete reinstall.

Hi,Core2Duo E8500, no CTDs yet.

Everybody including me, is running around scratching thier heads looking for a common denominator. I hope at the end of all this, PMDG doesn't just say here's the fix, now go fly. Because i for one would like to know what is causing this.
+1 1000's of man hours a day, are being spent by customers, testing and then reporting their findings back to PMDG.In return, the findings should be shared back with the FS Community, if only in the hope that everyone can learn from the experience. Many are sharing some very beneficial information, that everyone can use to help improve their FS experience.Thank you.

Knock on wood...but with the specs in my sig, and after about 20 hours worth of full flights in the NGX I've not had a single CTD or freeze or any other problem for that matter. I'm also running REX, ASE and UT2 at about 65%. Adam

Adam. I see your specs are very close to mine except for a couple of clicks on the oc and a SSD. How's your performance with 65% UT2.
