  5. Hello PMDG,this aircraft is still amazing! Own it since day one and I don´t get tired of it. I have noticed a small issue. When fuel is at zero, the indication of all pictures I have seen show "0" instead of "000" as you can see in the PMDG aircraft.http://jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=7207285&nseq=4Probably easy to change?

  7. I think it has nothing to do with outside temp. I think it depends on the setting of temperature on board. I think the temperature was to low when I got the message I was wondering why the light is still on although the temperature is already in a normal range.
  8. Hello!Every tenth flight or so I get a master caution with that yellow zone temp indication on the OVH (see pic)I have no idea what is wrong because all temperatures are in normal ranges. Any idea what I can do?
  9. I use saitek pedals and I also have problems with the autobrakes. Autobrakes 3 works but I would say the brakes has not enough power so that I have to switch over to manually brake actions. I´m sure that it has something to do with my config ...But what are the right settings for fsuipc and and fsx pedal settings?

  11. absolutely agree!!! We need a voice commander for the MD11 and also of course for the PMDG NGX. Modern flying in 2011 means you have voice commander on board ...

  13. I just have found out that you have to live with a small limitation. You lose the separation of the landing lights because all shockwave landing lights are connected to fixed landing light switch. Probably we find an solution for that for example different number for the retractable landing lights!?

  16. Is there a huge step from hotfix 2 to hotfix 3? After hotfix 1 I got some problems, after hotfix 2 beside the terrain ND issue everything works fine. So I´m a little bit afraid to install hotfix 3 ;)

  18. Many flights later I would say that there is a general terrain ND shift which correlates with the lenght of the flight which happens on every flight. If you get a terrain warning depends only from how far or at which situation the shift currently is. In my opinion the EGPWS is not very helpful currently but there are of course more important issues to fix right now. Nevertheless I hope that PMDG will find a solution. Cheers!
  19. I also have that skeleton plane thing from the 2D panel... Resizing the textures is probably interesting for users who suffer from OOM´s, CTD´s and freezes. I do it as a kind of prevention when flying to high end sceneries (add-on airport, UTX, photoreal textures etc.) Don´t thing that you get a significant performance boost.
  20. Thank you! I also convert the tail and wing texture. Yes, it is due to the loading times and memory usage, frames are not a problem here :-)
  21. Thank you Andrew, when I got you right than there is no need to resize the exported Alpha-Channel myself because the new texture do it automatically when I import the extracted alpha channel. My question above your post was because the night illumination of the engines looks little bit weird in the 2048 size (but only this) So I got the idea to put a 4096 Alpha Channel into a 2048 dds5 texture but I think that it isn´t possible ...
  22. Hello, I would like to see how the NGX look like with shokewave lights. I have tried to add it myself to the light secrion but the typical light section in the aircraft.cfg is missing. Did anyone already try to add it?
  23. One last question on this .... Is it problematical (in sense of causing CTD´s or so) to remain the alpha-channel in the 4096 size whereas I change the rest to a 2048 size?

  25. Ah okay, the programm do the same as when you modify the FSX.cfg yourself. I´m looking more for a possibility to modify the textures itselves. This is what I do with DXT.bmp - Load the original texture- click the edit button- a texture window opens which you can now modify- I modify the solution to 2048x2048- save it as bmp (dds not possible)- open that new texture with dxt.bmp- save it as dds5 with this method Iose the cabin night texture. Seems there is a problem with the alpha channel or so ... What I´m doing wrong? Thank you, I think you got the point which is missing. Will give it a try!
