PMDG might be doing a MD-10, don't ask me where I got this information from but when they do make a MD-10, I'll be the first who told ya! :(

Obviously this post will be met with a lot of skepticism. RSR said they would try to make things that we see daily in airports.

 

I see and have flown in several MD10s. I see them daily by virtue of where I work. Was there any airline that actually used the MD10 for commercial ops? I could Google it, but I'm kinda making the point that they (MD10s) weren't that popular and certainly not at this point.

 

Who knows... Maybe you're right. Maybe you have an Aerosoft connection or something. As of now, you'll have to excuse my doubt.

Let's assume 99.9% this was an April fools joke, but if PMDG make a MD-10 I'll eat my hat. :hi:

 

I'd have to go BUY a hat to eat, mind you, but I'm not worried it'll come to that...

 

I'm pretty confident that there'll be no MD-10. It would fly in the face of everything that has been said about the PMDG development philosophy, not to mention the open and honest discussion about the development agenda for the coming year or two.

Not true- My source is reliable. Every year I visit with RSR in the "pits" at the Reno Air races. Two years ago he was kind enough to give me the Development line up for the next few years-

 

Furthermore, since only ONE operator currently uses them, its 99 percent unlikely they would use their creativity and resources on such a ridiculous product.
